This is a beautifully written love story. This gives you hope that there is always someone out there no matter what age that will love you for who you are. It is very real-life feelings and insecurities and joys that we all experience in one amazing story. I am so excited that this is a series and cannot wait to get to the next 3 books that are coming.

Reading the summary description may give some inkling to expectation, yet her writing brought you SO much more. Very pleasant to read regarding smooth time progressions (and not belaboring the issues as some authors can, ‘with this, then that, then she said...’ ) [ I couldn’t just say it was easy to read, because it was very tough in many places, because it was so real.
Wonderful affirmations identified and re-affirmed. And grace well exceeds our humanity. Thank you for such a strong statement given.
I just got done reading the Rubyville series. Honestly, when I was done, I cried! I literally sobbed because I was so in love with all the characters. They felt like long, lost relatives! Some of the things I loved about this series is how God comes first. The author has a way of weaving God, the commandments and love for Jesus into fantastic stories. There are absolute messages and morals to be learned from the stories without it feeling overly religious. I could not put these books down. (There are 4 books to the Rubyville series). In addition, the author hits the nail on the head with being accurate about the different clothing styles, common phrases, and geographical facts for the many different decades. It is apparent a lot of preparation took place in order to write this generational wonder. I can only hope and pray there may be more to come of the Rubyville series.
